Furniture with Casters

Furniture Construction

Every piece of furniture we build begins with a clear purpose — and that purpose determines whether mobility or permanence should define the design. Casters introduce flexibility, allowing cabinetry or tack room furniture to move easily for cleaning, rearranging, or multipurpose use. They lend a subtle industrial edge and make large pieces feel lighter and more adaptable within a working barn. For spaces where mobility enhances functionality, exposed casters can even become a design feature — adding visual texture and a sense of practicality that complements a modern equestrian aesthetic.

When a more anchored, refined presence is desired, we conceal the casters within the cabinet base. This approach preserves the mobility when needed but maintains the seamless, furniture-grade appearance of built-in millwork. Hidden casters are ideal for designs that lean toward sophistication or classic styling — where every line, trim, and shadow is intentional. Whether visible or concealed, casters are a small but significant detail that reflects the overall design intent — industrial and versatile, or timeless and tailored.
